From Shy to Confident...
In Just a Few Months.

I just feel so proud of what we’ve created at stART Studio—a calm and peaceful space where children and adults can slow down, breathe, and truly enjoy the process of painting.
Every week, I watch how brushstrokes flow with ease, how focus deepens, and how each person becomes fully immersed in the joy of creating.
One story, in particular, touched my heart deeply.
A 7-year-old boy named Enzo first joined us a few months ago. Back then, he often looked downcast and unsure. He hesitated to choose what to paint, worried his choices wouldn’t be “good enough.” Every small mistake felt like a big setback, and he needed constant encouragement to keep going.
But art has a beautiful way of teaching us that mistakes aren’t failures—they’re simply part of the process. Week by week, with gentle guidance, Enzo began to see this for himself.
Yesterday, I witnessed his transformation.
He confidently picked a picture he wanted to paint, prepared his brushes, paints, and paper all by himself, and proudly explained his vision. We only stepped in when needed—but the artwork? That was entirely his own. And it was incredible.
As he painted, his mum watched quietly from the side, her pride shining through her smile. And I, too, felt such joy seeing the change in him—his confidence, his radiant smile, and the joy that came from within.
Moments like these remind me why I do this work: to nurture not only creativity but also courage, resilience, and self-belief in every child.
With heart,
