This is something we often hear from parents who walk through our doors at stART Studio.

Children don’t always have the words to explain what’s happening inside. When you ask, “What’s wrong?” they might stay silent, shrug, or even push you away.

We see it all the time. A child who struggles to talk about school paints themselves very small among tall figures. Another hides their name in the corner of the page because they don’t feel worthy of being seen.

In those moments, parents listened and nodded quietly, while others tell us with tears in their eyes, “Now I understand my child better.”

This is the gentle power of therapeutic art. It creates a safe space for children—a place without judgment, where every colour, every line, every brushstroke has meaning. It’s in this safe space that children open up, and parents finally glimpse the emotions their child has been carrying.

This personalised report highlights the emotional progress we have observed, the strengths that are emerging, and the areas where your child may require extra support.
